Bugged Bot Parts

I accidentally installed an unstable patch of Bot Parts. It's broken my game and no matter how many times I reinstall it won't go away. I even reinstalled Origin and that didn't get rid of it.
Whenever I try to install Creepy and Cute, it downloads. I can't play Spore, because if I try to open it with these unstable Bot Parts it crashes my game within a few seconds. I've tried deleting the files of it but that does nothing.

When you delete the files, they don't delete themselves at all?
Contact Origin to see (if they are capable and if they can respond quickly enough ).

Did you install Galactic Adventure BEFORE the patch? Maybe that's the cause of the crash, if you hadn't done it.

Download the mod (not the patch) from the ''Expanded vanilla party v.10.1'' mod download link. Found only here apparently, on You Tube, the video has been deleted!

The mod is called ''BP2_Data''. Penultimate line.

Maybe it will ''fix'' your game. I don't know.

Anyways, nope. That's the problem, even if I try to delete the files, they just come back!

I got GA before the patch, though.

How am I supposed to download the BP2 mod from there though? It's a big package and I don't think you can pick and choose which you'd like to have.

Maybe reinstall it again, after fixing your file problem.
Or if now, run it as administrator, if it was the resolution of the file problem that did this.

I also had a problem with the Creepy & Cute parts, but it was because of another mod, if that wasn't the case, someone saw on Discord that it said to move the BoosterPack_01 package out of bp1content and into dataep1,if your problem still persists.

Have you removed all traces of these buggy parts files from your PC? Maybe if there are any left, that's what's causing the problem.

Maybe after starting your game after installing it, if it asks you to update it, try to refuse (if it's possible), close the game and install patch 1.5 manually from the application of the latter for the installation to run, then starts the game. If you haven't already.

Or, I saw somewhere that you may not have installed the extensions separately or that you may not have launched the game so that loads before installing afterwards.

My game didn't ask to update when I installed it, the bugged BP patch was always added once I went to install Creepy & Cute. I've deleted the files a few times already, but it always appears to fix nothing. My core Spore folder has a DLC folder, which is empty and it was where the bugged patch 6 bot parts went. Is C&C supposed to go there normally?

It was always a folder named "bp1" that was in the DLC folder, and then those four files you listed. I also made the mistake of trying to install the patch using the .exe file that came with it, which possibly broke my game more, if it did anything.

Yes, when I downloaded it, Patch 6 came with a .package file and .exe. The .exe was for the disc version.

I only have one Spore account, BTW. I'm also located in the US, if I had been 14 years earlier everything would've been fine.

You can always try, I think they could "help you" more... well, sometimes it's not always the case , but you can try.
I also saw that for those who wanted to publish their creation with robot parts, you had to contact EA to activate this possibility, I don't remember exactly what. Maybe on your side, it's still active, I don't know if it could have been done automatically, maybe by asking EA, they can deactivate it for you to get rid of your broken patch.

Tell them what you said here, that you downloaded a patch of broken robot parts from the site where you did it, and find out if it's not a dodgy site especially.
That this patch reinstalls itself when you reinstall the game each time, and that this is not supposed to be normal, and that it replaced your Creepy & Cute parts, not normal either.
If you play on the disc version or not.
The locations of your files/DLCs explaining that you have an empty folder, and that you tried to delete or move some.
Ah... have you already tried to move the file ''BoosterPack_01.package'' into your empty DLC folder to see? But as long as patch 6 is still there, I think it will continue to crash your game until you are completely rid of it, no matter what you do.

If you reinstall all the mods they use, there should be no problem, for the robotic parts, the robot mod might replace them, but I'm not sure.

All I was told was to download the EA App. Game's still broken, and the crap EA App will probably just break it more. I'm going back to Origin, again!

After I reinstall Origin, maybe I'll go ask around the modding Discord or whatever it's called.

Yeah, no wonder . They offer games, but when there are problems, they are practically unable to help you! A training wouldn't hurt them! ... But you never know.

I don't know if you can do something in the Properties of the broken robot parts folder, like in ''Attributes'', if its operation can be disabled, or ''restore previous version'', if it shows of course.

Haven't had much luck in Spore Modding Discord server. Looks like not even the helpers are too sure on how to help me. Feeling restless; I'm bumping this thread, any of you have any possible ideas on what to try next? I feel like I've exhausted my options, but maybe that's just my inner-pessimist.
