Years ago, I became completely addicted to Spore. I've been away for some time.
I'm back again, playing via Steam now.
When I first played, I remember there was a tweak. I went into the data folder, opened up one of the files in notepad, and made a change to one of the values.
Result: When I used the Staff of Life, the 'Ammo Counter' didn't change. Infinite SoL
Well, it's years later now, and I cannot find that tweak again. I'm tearing my hair out looking for it. Terraforming and 'Uplifting' is my favorite part of the game.
There are many mods listed here, that do something similar, and much more, except that none of them seem to work with Steam.
So here I am, begging the Hivemind for help.

I understand that you may have trouble finding old tweaks.that's not my neighbor You can search for a mod that provides the same functionality you are looking for, even if it doesn't run on Steam. You may find some instructions on how to install the mod.
