Why can I not drag and drop a creature from Spore?

The only png I can drag into Creature Creator, is that of of Creature I have made.
Searched and found all kinds of suggestions, but no luck...

Nothing happens on drag & drop,
If I place it in the folder, it does not show up,
If I save as & place it in the folder, it does not show up,
The only way I can get one to show is if I make it. Then I can drag it in or place it any folder & drag, or
place it in My Creatures folder and it works no prob.
If I get it from Spore.com, no joy...

Also, how can we alter or replace the avatar animation?

does anyone know if we can create a functioning string in the properties?
Here's what I have tried: property GIFAngle 0x05d2e2a7 float 270, 180, 90, 0

and: property GIFAngle 0x05d2e2a7 float 270; 180; 90; 0;

and: property GIFAngle 0x05d2e2a7 float (270, 180, 90, 0,)

and: property GIFAngle 0x05d2e2a7 float 270
property GIFAngle 0x05d2e2a7 float 180
property GIFAngle 0x05d2e2a7 float 90
property GIFAngle 0x05d2e2a7 float 70

I have also tried Change of unique address

Anyone know how to get this to work?
It either skips integers, jumps over, or ignores...

After closing and restarting CC, a couple thumbs are appearing. When I try to use them I get the message
"The Creatures require parts you do not have installed"
Hmm, I guess I need to locate Creature parts from ????? Somewhere..
