ModAPI on Linux?

Questions seeking answers can be found here, someone else may have had the same issue and might have a solution.

Remember that mods you download that are created by Davo REQUIRE Spore: Galactic Adventures and REQUIRE your game to be installed & patched in this order.
  • - Install Spore Game
  • - (OPTIONAL) Install Spore C&C
  • - Install Spore Galactic Adventures
  • - Patch Spore and Spore Galactic Adventures to 1.5.1

ModAPI on Linux?

I wanted to use the Spore ModAPI on Linux, and i don't know how. I am using Spore GA :ga: , and have :spore: :cc: installed. I am using Steam and are using Proton Experimental for this.

You should use the Spore Mod Loader to mod the game when using Spore on Linux. It's a commandline tool, and uses a code injection method that's much more reliable under WINE than the Spore ModAPI Launcher Kit's.

Hello there! I'm a random guy who sometimes does *slightly* smart stuff. I do a lot of random Spore shenanigans, too.

Feel free to build off my open-source mods, but please don't add them to modpacks; it could cause compatability issues.

I mainly want DI / [dark injection] on my Spore install. Does that work with DI?

I also only know how to use ga and don't know how to use Spore ModAPI, can someone show me how to use Spore ModAPI in detail? Thank you very much
