Spore Mod API not being detected despite me installing it

So my spore for some reason or the other. I have as of recently uninstalled spore on steam and have tried using the CD version

I would some help or tips, please!

I have exactly the same issue on my end with the same stuff installed, that being SPORE, the 1.5.1 patch, GA and C&C. I am yet to find a solution

did you launch the game using the api or did you launch it normally

(is not installed by default on some computers)
