Hello! I would like to ask about dark injection, I'm having a problem.
Every time I install DI and open the game, it tells me to use the ModAPI. however,
when I use the mod API it says my spore is outdated.
so in short, how do I get a dark injection to work + how do I get the latest ver of spore?

Please help! I am on GOG version of SPORE and I keep getting this error message even though I've already done everything else right.
I can't open the Spore ModAPI Launcher, and it's telling me to contact you all. Keep in mind I've done the thing where you shortcut the Data Config of GA to a custom Data folder in the Launcher Kit folder.
Nevermind, went through the .exe's Properties and found out my version of SPORE was on 3.0.0.2818 instead of 3.1.0.22. Sorry for bothering, I will get to redownloading it with that version instead!

Is there a solution to the used by another process error? I've never seen a solution and I've been struggling for a while. I've tried shutting off spore by task manager but it still doesn't work.
Okay, so after a long long time of not playing this game, thought id play again. Was looking for mods to make the game more stable but didnt find much, coulnt even find the autosave mod, but this mod caught my eye. So i decided to try it. Cell stage, crash as soon as i tried to mate, same in next stage, crash as soon as i tried to mate. Next stage, crash when tried to advance to civil stage. Crash when trying to advance to space stage. I thought that okay, its a beta, maybe the earlier stages have issues not yet dealt with. So i tried to run this mod when already in space stage. Seems to run okay though im not exactly sure what this mod does anymore at this point... Took a mission to beam down to a planet... bla bla bla... Tried entering the outfitter before beaming down to the planet and... you guessed it, crash.
Im not exactly sure why all these crashes are occuring and i didnt seem to find much info in the past posts here but im quite sure that these crashes are not normal. Im running the gog collection v3.1.0.22 and followed the instructions to install the api and the mod. The api gives no errors.
Im running on windows 10 Intel i7-9700 3.6ghz 8core, 32 gb ram, Nvidia geforce rtx 2070 Super as primary card and rtx 2070 as secondary (currently not in use much) 8gb vram on primary card. if you need any more info, ask and ill try to provide.
Hopefully someone might have an idea why i get all these crashes everywhere. Strangely enough, i have a feeling its something stupid i did though...
