As of now the ModAPI does not have any support for specific gameplay features (so you cannot interact with the Space Game). That might be added in a future update, but I can't tell for sure.

Yeah, that's a known bug, the importer doesn't work correctly. I don't know when we will be able to fix it.

The config file and sporemaster file are files generated automatically by SporeModder and therefore can be ignored.

I think that happens because you only unpacked the Spore_Game.package . The correct creature_parts~ files are in Spore_Graphics.package, I think.

I think you mean the Spore ModAPI. The SporeAPI is something related with the Sporpedia. The limits are what is documented. Right now not many things are documented, which limits the ModAPI to few more than just interacting with the Spore user interface. But we are still working on it, and future up...

The launcher has been updated so that it works fine for Steam users now, thanks to the collaboration of TheUltraCube
. If the launcher didn't do anything when opening it, download it again and try (if you installed the Enhanced Color Picker mod, you might have to download it again)

Use the "Debug - Steam Patched" and "Release - Steam Patched" for Origin, forgot to mention that xD

For some reason, the launcher does not ever open. The launcher opens according to Task manager, but only for like half a second, am I doing something wrong? Decimal numbers are written like 0.5, but your computer is expecting a comma to separate them instead of a dot. Either you manually change them all (not recommended), or you change your computer configuration like this: https://superuser.com/a/772439
