They are textures from darkspore. Kinda hard to remove

Earlier versions may have the texture of the original Spore ...

The fail, the space width probably also not fixed.

I refrain from downloading.

I love the new update. Right now I am playing around with the ton of new affects and finding some other new things.
One bug I found though was that the Fire Charge abilty does not work and the Blazin' Tasin' abilty shows up as Ice skate in the creature editor where it shows all your stats, not really a big deal. But anyway I love this new update! :D

To fix the textures of your creatures you need to put the Arenas_RDX9.package and the Arenas_Textures.package into your SPORE Data folder located under Program Files/Electronic Arts/SPORE/Data. Once you copied them into that Data folder rename them and put a CAPITAL Z at the begining of each of those files name eg. ZArenas_RDX9.package and ZArenas_Textures.package That should fix your creatures textures.

so i updated the release. please redownload.

i fixed the abilities that were broken.

someone mentioned that the eyes were bad in a PM?
the eyes are fine, as the center model changes in color as well as look, and thats the best i can do here.

as far as the problems with proper texturing, they are fine, no action is required on my part, a work around was given. but i dont use it and my eyes contain pupils.

i told you that i cannot add that back into the mod. it destroys the handles if you havent noticed.
not worth it.

Hey Davo, i have a question:

Whenever i open Spore GA with Dark Injection, i don't get the Darkspore Maxis loading screen, nor do i get any of the new parts. The existing parts look like how they should with the mod installed but the new ones arnt there. I think it may be the cause of me not being able to find the Arena_Textures package. Do i still need it or is t optional now? Thx

nono, all you really need is is the arena_9xd4 whatever they called it, and the latest DI download.

in the latest download, i removed the loading screen.

the arena_textures file is optional.

you may have issues if the game isnt patched, but it sounds like you are missing this.

Really, really thanks. It works, but davo says you don't need the Arenas_Textures.package.
Or do you need him for this fix???

Davo all the special attacks of the guns are gone (WHY!!!).
It's now a normal spit attack.

Effects and abillites are very cool. However, I have suggestions for those "tears" to be made to create the desired effects/abilities work.
-They should be invisible
-"Tears" effects should be larger to further reduce size and difficult to click.

I know my game is patched and I do have the arena rdx9 whatever. I can see the parts in different colors, just not any of the new ones. I have used DI before so I know it should be working. Also, I really don't want to download the arena rdx9 again >_> took an hour last time.

Hey davo, I think a better base part for the effect would be that invisible piece from orbitspore. That way you don't have those little lumps all over the creatures. Here's the XML for that.

Okay, i dont get it. I ahve all the required files, Im on a mac and the new file Davo sent me wont work. And the game wont give me any of the new stuff. :/

EDIT: I think i may have figured out my problem. I think that DI isn't recognizing the arena RXD9 thing whatever its called. I tested this when installed them both, and when i installed them separately just the DI file. I may need a "new" arena RDX9 thing.
