would it be possible for you to make a version containing nothing but abilities?
I think the abilities would be more useful if they were seperate parts rather then being associated with one peticular gun/blade. You could just use that little invisible blob that you used in the effects mod.

i have been a fan since i discovered your work and still am!
I don't wanna put pressure on you (and i know coding takes a long time) but didnt you day the unlimited complexity DI will be up this weekend? So is it already up and i missed it?

Just wondering , will you ever attempt to modify the degree to which users can change the size of parts .
Also hope you manage figure out what went wrong with the latest version , and keep up the good work .

The part size thing has already been done. see BetterSpore (any version)

released the unlimited complexity/extended bounds version of DI
this version also contains 2 new pages of parts, all core heads as detail parts, and a page of limbs as detail parts.

How the pootis bird did you do that Davo? Did you make something in the building editor then import the gmdl as the background model? Or was it hidden in the game files?
Spore is creative, even the mods and hacks.
Or, should I say, especially the mods and hacks?

My guess is that he probably did it with TexMod, like the way gorespore was done.

About paint scripts, has anyone tried simply replacing spore raster images used for creature paints with the darkspore rasters?

Every biome in Test Drive should have a futuristic theme to it! Imagine going to the volcano forests only to discover your in a lab with red rings outside of your stance!

Actually, those background models are all 2D. They're just set far enough back from the camera that you don't see the edge before they move offscreen.

That what I suspected, after seeing the unpacked file.
It could be the old harvester vehicle or farm building background...
