Waves......

Unread post #1 by MC Sneeks » Thu Sep 16, 2010 1:04 pm

Waves, what do you know about them and what are all the conductors use to transfer them besides free space? If you answer with a question I will try to answer it to the best of my knowledge on the subject.

Feel free to use your imagination, but try to keep it realistic.

a wave is a hand gesture used to signal a greeting or to grab a viewers attention.

In physics, there are two types of waves: mechanical and electromagnetic.

Mechanical waves require some sort of medium through which to travel, such as water or air. Electromagnetic waves require no medium and propogate through energy packets called photons.

Frequency, amplitude, yadda yadda.
