Please help me with Creating a small mod.

Hello I have been practising modding with spore for quite some time.
I was wondering if somebody could please help me with two things that I am not sure are possible.
At the current time i am trying to:

1.Remove hate when allying with The Grox.

2.create a tool or just a file that can change a specific planet or entire systems spice type. Example the entire sol system may have purple spice or just earth or mars. they might even have every type of spice. Example earth may have green mars may have red ETC.

I realize that there are mods that stop every empire hating your empire when you ally with the grox, But either they don't work with the steam version or they are outdated i am not sure if that is the case though.

The spice tool is most likely not possible, but the no hate when allying the grox, as you said, has already been done. Most older mods should still work on the current version of spore, so it may be steam.

Do you know if there is any possible way for me to use positive grox alliance on the steam version? any files in it i may have to modify? Or in the games folder itself even?

I really don't know, not much has been done to make mods work on steam.

Ok thank you for helping I guess I might have to try and figure it out, but that's ok it's the best way to learn!
