    - Install Spore Game

    - (OPTIONAL) Install Spore C&C

    - Install Spore Galactic Adventures

    - Patch Spore and Spore Galactic Adventures to 1.5.1

Help with textures for SporeModder blender addon.

I've gotten the SporeModder blender addon to get functioning parts into the game but, they are always the color of the creature. Could someone guide me on how to make a part use the coat or detail textures and make a material which is always a specified color? (My autocorrect is trying to make me spell it colour but, that just looks weird)

Yeah, set colours are in the skinpaintDiffuseTexture, and paint colours are accessed via skinpaintTintMaskTexture (RGB = Base Coat Detail respectively). Both are stored externally to the part model itself (typically in "part_skin_textures~").
