Nothing is lost in asking, but don't get your hopes up, especially not for anything really big.

Changing a Monolith mechanic

Unread postby Raella69 » Wed Nov 23, 2016 1:22 pm

So ordinarily when you uplift a creature, only a part of the species gets uplifted. I know there can be no new functionality to the game since the source code isn't available to the playerbase, but would it be possible to make it so the 'wild' population is removed from the planets biome and there is an empty slot available? That is one thing that always bugged me. I would be willing to explore this possibility myself, but I have no idea where I would begin. Haven't done any kind of mods for this or anything.

If it's not possible to alter the mechanic, are there any in-game gimmicks to achieve the same thing? Maybe if I am determined and diligent I can systematically remove the Wild pop before they get to the space stage with a laser? Or would it just spawn more at some point? Would love to know.
