How do I disable running the SporeAPI launcher as an administrator?

It was all fine until all of the sudden I've been getting the alerts saying not to run the launcher/game as administrator and I was wondering how to get rid of this? I looked in properties>compatibility and the run as administrator box was greyed out. please help? will this break my game/save files? I've already played a little bit even though the alert told me not too, is it too late? thanks

btw, space stage has been occasionally crashing for me for seemingly no reason
