Himeric Engine [Partmod][BETA]

40 of 50 models complete
40 (120) of 50 (150) texture complete

Himeric Engine - is a modification for the game Spore, developed by the gaming community. The essence of modification - to add new items to the editor beings.

What is ready:
[*] Several new, quality parts
[*] Separate tabs for new parts
[*] Assigning every detail typing game, then there is a division in the "Mouths", "Sense", "Graspers", etc.

What do you plan to do:
[*] More details!
[*] Adding detail skills

[*] Greatly reduced size of mod (~7mb)
[*] All models parts were re-assembled to reduce polygons and optimize the UV

Okay, let's see...

...I want to contribute to this, but I'm a terrible modeller, and a terrible texture artist...


...oh, I know - I can replace 7 categories with just 1, which saves valuable space.

I don't think words are very effective in this case, so here, have 1,000 of them in a picture:

See what I'm doing? Unfortunately, the category has to be on the right for this to work, and the camera doesn't really like that, but if you think it's a worthwhile tradeoff, then great.

Honestly, that palette is fairly useless because it obstructs the view of the creature and leaves a huge empty space with nothing in it. That's why I ditched it after playing around with it for a bit :/
Spore is creative, even the mods and hacks.
Or, should I say, especially the mods and hacks?

Well I solved that problem with CTRL H. Besides, once Emd cracks open SPUIs (yeah, that's gonna happen eventually), we can fix that issue, so this is rather temporary.

I tried the mod, and it seems like a good start but I have 1 complaint: the black or brownish bases on the parts never math to my creatures. My suggestion is to duplicate the parts onto a new page and have them recolor like the creature, so we have the option of black ones and ones that texture like the creature

May I also suggest fixing the bug that prevents eyes from being placed on the heads/mouths? It makes them rather difficult to use, but I was able to fix it quite easily, so it shouldn't take you long.

Eyes can not be placed on your parts. Please fix that. It is easy to fix.
