[WIP] Sims4Spore UI and More!

Hey guys!

I've been working on a UI mod for spore for a while that has in the same style as the Sims4 one.

what is done so far:

any ideas and/or thoughts?

Alot have happend since last time I posted in this thread!

since then I've learned alot of SPUI editing and made a new SPUI for the editor with compleatly new textures:

Looks great. Wish I had a clue as to how you are making this happen...
I wanted to be able change the UI and add buttons. I made Canimate to run next to Creature creator because I have no idea how to integrate it.
Download Canimate.

SporeModder can be used to add buttons (though you'd have a lot of RE to do to make them do anything the base game doesn't already do...)

Ok, so I see SporeModder 1.1.1 and decide to give it another go. I want to (in Creature Creator) be able to display the
Dev UI, when clicking on ground in preview mode - have the creature walk in place, turn off atmospheric elements, and integrate Canimate buttons in the animation preview mode.

Big fat bummer, when repacking, I get this error..

Yes its the Main... but that is where Dev option is.........
I really want to integrate Canimate.....

I want to (in Creature Creator) be able to display the Dev UI, when clicking on the ground in preview mode
(walk in test drive) - have the creature walk in place. All the work I have done with Canimate wold be so covenant if integrated into Creature Creator. All the animation in my avatar were exported via Canimate. Spore can not export these animations. I hacked for at least 6 days to get these results. If I knew how to create an "actor builder/animator" like Spore, I would be ecstatic.

Wait...oh, I think this is a communications failure.

You don't have to overwrite an existing package to override files within it, you can add a new package containing the same files...just make sure your package is in a higher alphabetical position. I didn't recognize your answer as an answer to my question because I had mistakenly assumed you already knew that. I apologize. In any case, I strongly recommend adding a new package over repacking an existing one, it will make your life a lot easier, as you won't have to wait so long to repack your changes for testing, you won't have to fight with errors relating to repacking files you don't even need to modify, and your changes will be more easily and less intrusively added to an existing install of the game.
