True, but I didn't expect it to actually correctly show a flesh limb that isn't attached to the base limb. It doesn't usually work for me in the flora editor.

So, more progress on v2. I havent exactly been working on as many new parts, but this test mod as part of the mod has yielded some interesting results.


EDIT: the video is fine now.

a menu in a menu... you know what ive tried to do, i tried to get the adventure editor tab set into the creature editor.

i got it to work, mainly i wanted the tabs to be able to slide offscreen, but it never did...
i also got the adventure flora page in the creature editor once haha, clicks to crash if you try to load a flora... lol

Before I put a page in another page I also made it so that there were regular paint type tabs and an option to change the creature color... I've made some pretty weird stuff... The limb editor, that glitchy spine messup thing in CamBen custom parts, the limb messup part in dark genetics, the creature repainting mod, the ground effect that moves with the creature, city hall and turret buttons in the creature editor... Etc etc.

Putting the flora chooser in is a great idea, even though it really doesn't make much sense. :D
Once I put a button to acces the limb editors and the hidden cell editor into the creature editor, but clicking them proved to be unsuccessful in the way that They were useless.

I don't have don't have the BP1 or BP2 data. Is that bot parts, or did you mean EP1 or Ep2? I downloaded GA off of Origin if that helps. Also, the rar doesn't have Zz_Arenas_Textures. Is that DI?
I'm probably making a really dumb mistake, but I installed CB genetics and CB spine tweaker, and only genetics is taking effect.

Edit: Never mind, I fixed it.

Download it from the official Dark Injection page and rename it so it has the "ZZ's" in front.

For the re-textures, do I need the old DI textures?
I am using the "Core" version that is optional.

I would like to have the Eyes that have the different textures (multiple versions of the same parts with different skins and textures)

So far everything has a Core texture. How do I get one of each?

You have to remove the optional core textures mod for this to work, this overrides it.

Also, I threw this idea at Rob for his requested parts. But since you may have some experience with it.
Is there any possibility of doing another sort of Knurlies mod, but for various re-textured or re-coloured eyes and mouths or other details and weapons?

I really like the DI Eye textures and would like to see more different kinds of eyes. :)

Yea that would work, but currently I'm preoccupied with a massive project for portal 2. Also, another thing you can do is use the knurlies themselves to construct pieces of the creature, like horns, eyes, details, and such.
