I was able to get this mod to work.
Maybe you could add different versions of the grox eyes. Like grox eyes with a blue iris instead of a green iris. Or a red iris, yellow iris, etc.

I could make that a part of my custom parts mod for you! I'll do that as soon as I can access my computer (posting from Wii U is TERRIBLE)

Just looked through the video.
-New Spices
-Grox parts and Deformable Cell Parts in Creature Editor
-Force Save
-Genetic Modifier
-New Spacetools
-Breaking the Galactic Code is now literally impossible (How does society still function like that? .-. )
-No ammo limitations
-No recharge time for Terraforming, Terrasculpting, and Terracolouring tools
-Any tool on any planet (Never blow up all of your colonies and then die, Idk what happens but I'd have to guess a crash)
-New relationship faces (taken straight from Virakotxa's faces mod)
-Partial port of Virakotxa's GigerSpore UI mod
-New archetype backgrounds (also taken from a mod by Virakotxa...I guess HACKER80 was a fan? )
-Spice of your choice on your homeworld
-Includes SporeHack in the ZIP so you can use the few features it has which work properly on the current version of the game, which this mod likely requires

I probably missed a few things or got something wrong, but hopefully that will give you a sense of what it does overall.
