Chimera Beam [Space weapon] Finished!

The final version of the chimera beam is finally finished! It now has its own
name, description and custom icon. I also balanced it out slightly by giving it more
energy drain, a higher price and higher badge requirements. I am not sure how
this will work with your weapons pallete. If you have already bought all weapons
you might not be able to buy this due to pallete tool pallete size limitations. I
haven't tested that out, since I don't have all other space weapons in my main
save game.

Thanks! It took quite a bit of effort to get it just right, so I'm glad it looks pretty good.

That's epic! :D I need to get this. Can you make it so it doesn't replace mini pulse?
Spore is creative, even the mods and hacks.
Or, should I say, especially the mods and hacks?

If you tell me how to make it a completely new non-replacement weapon, I will. But I don't know how.

Explore right on the chimeras beam, and rename it. Find spacetrading~ folder and search for mini pulse and copy that too. Find the reference to the mini pulse and change it to chimera beam.

Hmmm....It's not showing up in the trade menu. I'll keep trying though.

So did you get it to take its own slot instead of replacing an existing weapon? :D

This is a great weapon. How did you make the icon? I'm having trouble making custom icons for my mod. They look terrible. In addition, they don't retain their custom icon in the weapons panel.
