uh hello its me i have notices that no one has posted anything in some time is everything okay?
i was wondering if there is any news on di 9.r ?
edit: i also would like to know about modapi because if di 9.r will be using it i would like to know how to install and use it
because i have never used it and would like to know for when di has to have it to work thanks in advance.

Stuff is happening, it's just that a lot of the activity is on Discord now.

Also DI already has a ModAPI-powered Installer... .-.

It's super easy. Picture Skype specialized for gaming-related things, and you get the idea.

The download page directed me to a Darkspore creature converter program to apparintly convert old darkspore creatures to Dark injection? However, most creature files I attempt to convert give me the error "Error reading image's creation. Error, too much data in the image." Then pops up with the converter anyway with a name that looks like someone rolled their face over the keyboard with capslock on. Halp?

Yeah, the Darkspore Creature Converter is...far from perfect. Can I see the PNGs in question?

That's already a Spore PNG. Why are you trying to run it through the Darkspore Creature Converter?

I thought it may still need to be fixed due to the file crashing my game when put in my creatures folder. It shouldint do that as i created this myself on my old laptop and it did not crash my game. guess its another issue then.

Yeah...I'd have to guess you're missing a mod from your old setup or something.
