Downloaded SporeModder-1.0.0-beta.
Does not unpack.
Do you yet have a video example of procedure?
Download Canimate.
an add-on for Spore Creature Creator that allows you to export custom animations for your next game or project.

Does it show any errors?

No errors. Does show unpacking progress, but after progress window closes, there are no files in the folder.

What operative system do you use? Windows 10?

As a temporary solution, if you go to "File -> Settings" and change the "Projects path" to a folder of your choice (outside the SporeModder folder), it should work. Keep in mind that all your mods will be stored in that folder.

Hello everyone!
I Have recently downloaded the .zip, unzipped it, and than tried to execute the launcher.
The spore modder loading window pops up for a second, and than it just shuts down.
Thanks in advance

Try running it from the CMD, there should appear an error here.
Anyways, I uploaded a new version yesterday that fixed a bug like that, so you can try that one (if you oepn the launcher it should tell you there's a new update).

Okay so for some reason this tool is confusing me...

My main issue is why there's nothing in the big box in the middle.

Also what is the folder name used for creature skinpaints? (not part skinpaints)

It's a text editor.

Read the other thread.

Also parts don't have skinpaints of their own. If they did, we might be one step closer to spaceship-style painting for creatures

Yes, and so do SporeMaster and SporeEdit and SpView and every other Spore modding tool, ever.

The problem is that Steam Spore doesn't work with mods. It's not the mods' fault, nor the modding tools' fault, nor the mod developers' fault, it's the game's.

Anywaves, here's an alternative solution:

Help! How can I open a package (Ex.: Spore_Graphics.package) and edit the contents inside? Video tutorials would be greatly appreciated.

It won't start.
The splash screen comes up, and updating works, but after that the process just closes, and nothing happens.

Could you please execute SporeModder Launcher.exe from the CMD to see if any error is shown?

Yes, you must export them as .obj and then import them to Blender. The rest is the same.

Dogizmaster, is there any folder called Projects in your SporeModder folder? If not, a dialog like this should appear (it might be behind all the other windows)

There is a folder called Projects. It's empty.
