Sorry, I forgot. Honestly I don't know what's happening. Try executing SporeModder.jar itself. If you have a Steam account, you can add me (I have the same name as here) so we can contact more easily.

No, you put rw4 files into the desired folder within your project. Completely different.
is there a way to convert .obj to .rw4 or are they 2 completely different things (this is for SporeModder not blender and its spore creature parts, just so you don't mess things up)

Yes, just import the obj model into Blender, add a skeleton and a material, and export as rw4.

That mostly looks like a bug on my end which I'll have to fix for the next update. Apparently it's caused by files which have no extensions, try changing any file like that.

New Update Released!

[h2]SPUI Editor[/h2]

This new SPUI editor allows you to create or edit user interfaces. This is an example of what you can do with it:

This is from the mod Sims4Spore, by Darhagonable.

This is from the mod DarkInjection 9.r, by Rob55Rod.


Other features:

- Added an option in "Project Settings" where you can choose to include "editorsPackages" files into the mod (this feature is activated by default). This feature will make the mod work correctly for the new Spore patch.

- Files in the Project tree can be dragged and moved.

- The file sporemaster/names.txt is now used while the Project is opened.



- Fixed errors when Spore or Galactic Adventures isn't installed in the computer. Also fixed SporeModder not detecting the game since the last Spore patch.

- Fixed some bugs with searching in the Project panel.



- DBPF:

- Fixed bug which made unpacking DBPF files not work sometimes.

- Packing projects now works even if there are files with no extensions.



- EFFECTS:

- Fixed bug with 'emit' in particle and metaparticle effects
