One thing, the part seems a little pixeled, use that in Blender:

Play with "Levels", the part will see better.

Does this work for textures? Im not near the pc to discover myself

If you do that, the textures will be working already. I recomend texturing before that metod, because it's more easy.

i cant seem to figure out why the image looks great in blender but not on spore. if i scale it large, it looks great, but if i scale it small, it scales the image poorly in the editor. confusing.

you need to go into your spore folder if you have it on steam then right click on spore and open properties then go to local files and browse local files then you need to put after you download the mod you need to put in dataEP1 folder
