The unlimited complexity adds new editors, rather than modifying the existing ones. This is a workaround, as for some reason we can't actually modify most of the editors. Emd is looking into that, in the hopes that it might somehow be SporeMaster's fault.

This worked flawlessly, the boosterpack finally fully extracted. However... my changes still arn't taking effect. I'm not trying to do anything drastic, I just want to alter body part abilities and such, but even though i've unpacked the game, text, patch data and boosterpack packages in that order...

I added those lines to the end of the right files both in the base game folder and the ones in EP1, as well as tried both individually, and neither configuration did diddly squat. Easy solution: your issue is not an issue. Simply save your creature and view it in the adventure editor or the sporepedia and the invisible feet and legs will be invisible. We don't know why this happens for some people, but it's most likely based on things like your operating system, your graphic...
