Re: Download Spore Music with Spore: Unofficial Galactic Sco
Hey guys, it's been a month since any real updates, but I want to inform you that I just launched my website to host Spore: UGS in the near future. I also decided to upload random finished MP3's from the games I ripped to hold you over until then. For now on, I'll upload larger steps to finish the p...

Re: Spore: Unofficial Galactic Score
The "What The Grox" song is used as the city theme for those mechanical gremlins. The deal is that you can't hear because The Grox will eventually chase you (which plays the Space War theme). The only way to hear it is either allying with them or enter into their territory for the first ti...

Re: Spore: Unofficial Galactic Score
It's no one in particular. I meant if I was acting very rude. Sorry about that.
Edit: Never mind about asking for help, I found an exploit that may help me rip the music from Spore Hero.

Re: Spore: Unofficial Galactic Score
Rob, I don't want to sound like THAT person, but there's no audio folder in the upload you gave me. It's alright, I ripped the ISO image off the game again but I'm having problems. I assume that the music data is in the .MUS file (a format used by Electronic Arts), but if I try to rip the data it be...

Re: Spore: Unofficial Galactic Score
Rob55Rod: Thanks for trying to help, unfortunately I can't find the song files anywhere (aside from the cinematic and opening). On my old BIN file, I found the BRSTM files (or .AST? Can't remember) but I can't rip it and WinAMP can't play the song right. Maybe I'll extract the data off my own disk a...

Re: Spore: Unofficial Galactic Score
I haven't forgotten it, I'm feeling depressed lately because I screwed over my Spore data and got stuck in a personal rut (not to mention, I was playing Smash Bros 4 to cheer myself up). I just woke up feeling refreshed so I'm getting back to it. However, I'll confirm a few things. Most of the Space...

Re: Getting the Correct Save Planet
Okay, turns out I can't do it via modding or file swapping no matter what I do (changing planets scripts didn't do a thing, etc), but I discovered something a bit unusual with the game generation that might explain what's going on here. It's turns out that planet I was trying to get is a only time o...

Re: Getting the Correct Save Planet
I'm trying to switch locations for the two planets but I'm not sure how I call pull it off. The reason for that is because of a Let's Play I'm continuing for a friend of mine and I want to be on one of the spots (as you can see in the screncap). Also, I can't seem to get that planet type is reappear...

Re: Getting the Correct Save Planet
I tried changing the name in the actual .SPO file yesterday, but it resulted in the save file being unable to boot (maybe due to the different file size and some other unknown reason). Also, changing coordinates? I didn't think of that but how can I pull that off? Edit: D'OH! The file you need, here...

Re: Getting the Correct Save Planet
Very well, just give me a bit. I may want to upload an extra file if the trick is to give the planets the same name.

Getting the Correct Save Planet
Recently I was trying to get one of my Spore saves to be the not only the right type, but at a precise location in the galaxy for a future project. Unfortunately getting that down is difficult through normal means (creating new files and deleting them) since new save files are randomly generated. I ...

Re: What does cash do?
It's a fun little feature the site has, but I don't pay too much attention to it. You can rob people, buy lottery tickets to get more, and you always receive some by making replies and topics depending on how many words you use. It's not a real-world thing or involves in actual money if that's what ...

Re: Teaser at the Next Best Thing!
I just released Spore: Unofficial Galactic Score. AKA: The thing I was teasing, check the first post for the link!
(Yikes, I sound like an advertiser. Then again, EAxis never bothered releasing the soundtrack for the original game.)

Spore: Unofficial Galactic Score - Now Rebooted!
Remember that thread I made " Teaser at the Next Best Thing "? Well, here's what I was hinting at. It's been half a decade since the game has been released, EAxis didn't offer it from it like they usually do, and people said it couldn't be done. Well, they were wrong! Introducing... http:/...

Re: Music Requests
I can't do any major modding for the life of me, but it's possible to add custom music to GA. If you're interested, MX3 posted on how you can make custom songs here: http://translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=es&u=http://www.sporepedia2.com/t11936-musicas-personalizadas-para-las-aventuras...

That maggot looking thing is actually a pearl necklace. That Screeble is opening a treasure chest.

Teaser at the Next Best Thing!
http://i1064.photobucket.com/albums/u361/GBAura/screebletreasure.png What could it be? No one can say! Edit: It's here http://www.davoonline.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5314 Hints: 1. It's something that a lot of people wanted from Spore since the beginning. 2. Despite them doing this before...

Re: On Origin Spore and SCC...
To explain the deal with regular Spore and Spore Creature Creator (although you edited that post), the two games are very different and you can only install one program on it. As you may know, SCC was released as a demo to let people play with one of the editors, but when Spore came out, the install...

Re: How To Properly Extract Data From Spore Files
I think the problem you and P.D. had (I feel bad for not responding to him since I forgot about it...) is that you didn't install the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework, which is what S3PE and SporeMaster needs in order to function properly. Then again, I'm just guessing since it's a long ti...

Neat, now if only we can create a mod that includes the Cake Editor.
