Did you expect such an ancient thing to still work? Spore patches modify the game and the old mods no longer work.

I believe that cube planets were supposed to be a rare formation, which is realistic: It's definitely possible for a planet to be formed with a mountain range that runs around it like that, just very, very unlikely. I'll look around the spore files a bit more, but that might be in the encrypted files.

Except the Grox aren't hated, they're just feared. They were very powerful, but didn't go out and obliterate entire races. Reverse Engineered Interstellar Drive

As you play the game, your homeworld says that they'll do some research in reverse engineering the interstellar drive, but you only ever get yourself and your fleet's ships, whereas the computer gets flagships with squadrons when there's a war or raid. I would like it if you could fund the research ...

I'm still looking into it myself, but I might have overlooked something, as I can't seem to find what defines each archetype, at least when it comes to space. There's a list of how likely it is for each archetype to pop up, but that doesn't tell me which one they are, or how they get their superweap...

Glad I'm learning some of the SporeMaster stuff. Still frustrated at these hex-named and encrypted files. HTRA and CNV are really getting on my nerves.

I would suggest at least updating to 1.3, if you get Galactic Adventures that's as far as you can upgrade. If you only have Core Spore, get 1.5 and then upgrade to 1.6 via the Doctor Pepper Bot Parts.

That's just it. I played Spore using that mod, and I could place a building on each and every space in the city. You may have a conflicting package in your data folder. What version did you patch Spore to?

Unfortunately that issue seems to be primarily with your own Spore. Do you maybe have another package in there?

And if what I did was exactly the same... How the hell did that happen? I started from scratch to accomplish that package.

Well, here. Did what I could, if it helps it helps, but small cities still have limited space. Unfortunately whatever defines how many towns pop up as small is in an encrypted file.

Are you sure the problem isn't that you don't have enough money? If you don't have enough money, you can't put the building there. I've set all cities to have the walls and stuff in the same locations, but it doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot, so I'll look into another thing.

I believe the purpose of the mod is to make all cities on the planet big cities so that they will support the maximum number of buildings, but... A lot of bits have been left unmodified. Are you looking to have the cities be like colony cities? I can copy the colony source into all of the city form ...

Hmm. Did some looking into the castle files... Looks like the set the reference up so that small cities shared the same source as the large cities, but that's not defined anywhere, which may mean it's a modifier, in which case it wouldn't work that way. I'll unpack a few more things and snoop around.

Ah, the good old dream of leaving the galaxy. It may be possible through a script to load up game1 instead of game0 or something, but what would you script to do that?

I'll look into some of the files I've been tweaking and see if I can add a little something.

Hmm, that's interesting. The only added archetype mods that I know of simply change an archetype, and don't add new ones. Perhaps you were thinking of a discussion, or perhaps that was one of the many things lost when SporeMods/Sporedum went down. I really wish somebody else would take up the testi...

I believe what he actually did was add new artifacts. Mobile Oil was the name of the artifact that looked like the oil well, and the other artifact was a bridge.
