Well the time it takes depends on if your starting from scratch, using an older mod, or combining many mods. I'd love to
work on something like this but, I'm not the best gameplay modder. I'll see what I can do though.
I would estimate about a day or two, a week at the most.

but for the new ones, do they have new textures entirely, or is it just the name and value? (because I want to make rainbow spice.) That is most likely impossible you can only change the one color of the icon and the geyser. but then how did they make orange and white spice? Umm I ment that you can...

I do not have this file and I have a crash in the creature creators.

It's the place where all the patches are. DI doesn't use it but you need it if you have patched the game before you deleted it. The editor probably crashes because the files for asymmetry are missing.
