Did you use the Genetic Modifier component of DI to add arms or legs to your creature?
If not, does it also crash when starting a new save?

It already exists, but it was lost when the database reverted back to an August backup.
Also, BetterSpore is a stupidly old mod that hardly works, and the hidden cell parts existed in Core Spore and were used by Maxis cells - BetterSpore only added them to the part palette.

Right now, that's not possible anymore. Because of an exploit related to EA Play, you can't get the CD key for Core Spore anymore - so you can't register it on Origin.

The launcher keeps launching Spore with the less-powerful integrated graphics and not the graphics card, even when I set the launcher to use the graphics card. Is there a way to fix this yet? Yes - setting Spore itself to use the dedicated GPU. Switching to a dedicated GPU won't fix the 30 FPS limi...

We don't support pirated copies of Spore. Either buy a legal copy (preferably from anywhere but Steam) or don't play Spore.
(also, using DI on a pirated copy of Spore breaks DI's ToS IIRC)

The creatures have too many parts. Creatures with more than 255 parts don't consistently animate or paint, and they are prone to crashing Spore. They also can't be saved.

The process is still running in the background. Either use Task Manager to close it or restart your computer.

Quick question, why is the download a .rar and not a .sporemod to install with the Spore ModAPI Easy Installer? .rars are way less idiot-proof than .sporemods, as you can't install .rars with the Spore ModAPI Easy Installer.
