Well disabling everything did nothing (even setting the UI back to core Spore's) but I think I may have found the issue. After re-enabling everything, out of curiosity I tried deleting just the !!!!!2017_DI_9_r_Beta2-1-6_zzFoundation_LC package and that seemed to fix it. Granted it also removes a lo...

I uninstalled everything back to unmodded GA and it was normal. When I put just DI back the issue came back as well. I even did fresh install attempt just to be sure.

So normally the sea vehicle editor looks like this Spore_2018-05-23_16-33-07.png but for some reason having dark injection installed makes it look like this Spore_2018-05-23_16-47-27.png The particles that were underwater are now covering the whole screen and the clouds are now directly on the water...

So it seems that while UI layouts is enabled, the paint mode in the cell editor is almost unusable. I brought this up too, and he said it was an oversight and will be put back in the next update/build. For now you can use the hotkey for the Sporepedia/Helix Database which is B. I recently found it by complete accident.

So after going back and forth testing the original and the new one, I realize it is different and works as you said. I probably just thought that the layouts centered camera was the new one listed in the readme as it was more obvious and didn't have to zoom/angle it to tell the difference. Course no...

Ah, that's what I thought you meant by that, but now I know for sure. In which case, it was probably fine, I'll have to mess with it on and off to see how much of a difference it makes from the normal camera, now that I know what to look for. And just use my recently discovered hotkey in the meantim...

Well the centered camera was what I though "new camera" meant so maybe it was workobg properly and didn't notice. I'll have to test the zoom when I get off work although I'm confused about what you mean about "360-degree camera rotation" What's different from the original there? ...
