I think Spore desperately needs something similar to WorldEdit for Minecraft. Making big and detailed adventures just takes a really long time. There are many unused paint schemes you can see from 2006 Spore, so there are still plenty of removed paint schemes that could be rebuilt into a mod.

With the new spore mod API, this could be possible, but it would probably require a button of its own in the GUI. Maybe a nest icon? This is a very good idea and I hope someone looks into this. I actually have a mod which removes nests altogether but, this would still be useful in deciding where to...

Try and see if it works without it. Worst case scenario: it just doesn't work and you need to remove the package (which is fairly easy to do).
