Has there been more research in uncapping T0 limits? This would be beneficial for systems purchased/converted from the Grox at the very least. Vehicles survive on Grox planets just fine, fwiw.

Unpacking the mod gives an error in the latest version of SporeModderFX, so I'm not even sure how one would go about trying to update its compatibility sadly. Dunno which tool was used in 2010 back when this was made.

Something to keep in mind if you're having difficulty, along with what is said in the OP about placing as close to sea level as possible: make sure there is a spice geyser underwater nearby. Otherwise, of course, the colony will just go for the nearest terrestrial one. e: also, there's a new version...

Yep, that hack is from good ol' Sporebase. Unfortunately it seems to be the only way to level up a captain faster, unless someone has successfully modded GA to reduce the EXP needed per level to 100 or so.

Most likely your pirated copy of Spore got updated and the crack was replaced, or something along those lines. Buy it and it should work.
